‘Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the lab,
Not a machine was running, without the slightest blab;
The stockings were hung above the back doorway right,
In hopes St. Nicholas wouldn’t put up a fight;
On the night of Christmas Eve, Micah and his family decorate their house with Micah entering his laboratory afterwards and decorating it with the help of his relatives. With the decorations in his lab finished, Micah and his family set up a Christmas party with Micah asking his mother if he could invite his three friends (Wesley(his best friend), Sarah, and Jessica) over. She allows it with Micah contacting his friends right away while the rest of his family grabs and puts out refreshments with Micah’s friends arriving via Micah’s Warp Machine, partying with everyone until bedtime. Micah and his family clean up the lab with Micah subsequently saying, “Boy, what a night! I think we should hit the sack now. There’s no telling when Santa will be coming.” As everyone begins to head out of Micah’s laboratory, they suddenly hear sleigh bells ringing from Micah’s computer, drawing their attention to it and seeing Santa and his reindeer flying across the sky on surveillance.
“Ooohhh!!! That’s our queue! Everyone, you know the drill!” said Micah surprised. Everyone turns their attention away from Micah’s computer and suddenly hear a zapping sound coming back from it. Micah and his family and friends turn their attention back to Micah’s computer and watch Santa and his reindeer falling out of the sky while unconscious on surveillance with a voice saying, “Nice shot, Jr.!” Another voice immediately responds with, “Thanks, dad!” Trekker and Trekker Jr. suddenly appear on screen, standing behind a ray gun with steam expelling from the nozzle. Micah annoyingly slaps his forehead and shakes his head in disbelief while saying, “Not again.”
“What’s wrong?” asked Micah’s mother.
“Every year, Trekker and Trekker Jr. have to go out and destroy Christmas! Every year! This is ludicrous, I tell you! Ludicrous!” answers Micah angrily while gesturing to his computer’s screen with his hand.
“That’s Trekker for you. Always out to ruin everyone’s fun.” responded Wesley.
“Well, I’m going to get to the bottom of this! Computer, show us the exact moment Santa went down.” replied Micah annoyingly. Micah’s computer rewinds the surveillance footage to a time frame that Santa and his reindeer were in the sky, revealing to have been knocked out from rocks that expelled from Trekker’s and Trekker Jr.’s ray gun.
“What are we going to do?” asked Sarah.
“Without Santa, we’ll never get our presents!” responded Jessica.
“I’ll tell you what we’re going to do! We’re going to stop Trekker and get Santa back to work! Who’s with me?” asks Micah while putting his hand in the middle.
“I am!” answers Wesley while putting his hand on top of Micah’s.
“Don’t start without me!” answers Sarah while putting her hand on top of Wesley’s.
“Room for one more?” asks Jessica while putting her hand on top of Sarah’s. Micah looks back at his family and says, “Mom, you and everyone else are free to go. My friends and I will take it from here.”
“Well, ok. Be careful down there.” responds Micah’s mother while exiting Micah’s laboratory with Micah’s stepfather and two brothers (Matthew (the oldest) and Christopher (the youngest)). Micah’s mother, stepfather, and brothers dress in their PJs and go off to bed while Micah and his friends watch Trekker and Trekker Jr. drag Santa and his reindeer (who are all still unconscious) into their mansion. Santa gains consciousness a while later and finds himself cuffed on a concrete slab inside Trekker’s mansion with Trekker and Trekker Jr. approaching him.
“Ho! Ho! Ho! Good evening, Santa!” said Trekker menacingly.
“Don’t ‘Good evening, Santa’ me, Trekker! I know what you and your son are up to!” responds Santa angrily while struggling to break free from the concrete slab.
“Don’t bother, jolly old st. doofus. Those cuffs are as tough as steel; no pun intended.” replied Trekker Jr. menacingly.
“What do you want from me?” asked Santa angrily.
“Your job! We’re going to give all the little boys and girls in the world our most diabolical experiments! It’ll put us one step further into taking over the world! Ha ha ha ha!” laughed Trekker.
“Don’t get your hopes up, Trekker! Micah, Wesley, Sarah, and Jessica are going to stop you! They always do!” responded Santa angrily.
“What did you say?” asks Trekker angrily while pulling out a metal rod from his pocket.
“Something about Micah, Wesley, Sarah, and Jessica.” responded Trekker Jr. angrily.
“How dare you mention those broken bolts in my presence! They’re nothing but trouble!” replies Trekker angrily while hitting Santa with the rod. Santa gets knocked unconscious again with Trekker menacingly saying, “Come on, Jr. Let’s finish this guy’s job…the Trekker way!” Trekker and Trekker Jr. walk over to Santa’s sleigh and pull out his bag of presents, dumping them out and refilling the bag with their heinous inventions. After refilling the bag, Trekker and Trekker Jr. put on their own Santa outfits, loading the bag back into the sleigh while the reindeer gain consciousness.
“Where’s our first stop?” asks Trekker Jr. while jumping into the sleigh with Trekker.
“I was thinking Arcanum since that’s where Micah and all his friends are.” answered Trekker.
“Ok. You’re the boss.” responded Trekker. Trekker whips the reins on the reindeer, taking off into the sky as Micah and his friends watch live surveillance footage of it off of his computer in his laboratory. Micah and his friends run to Micah’s Warp Machine and warp themselves to Trekker’s mansion with Wesley, Sarah, and Jessica running to Santa’s aid and Micah running to a key rack.
“Santa? Are you ok?” asks Sarah while shaking Santa gently. Santa gains consciousness and says, “Guys! You made it!”
“Yeah, but I’m afraid we’re too late.” responds Micah while unlocking the cuffs on Santa’s wrists and ankles. Micah and his friends help Santa down from the concrete slab with Santa saying, “Ah, that’s better! Thanks for saving me yet again, Micah Friends!”
“You’re welcome, Santa. But, we’re not done yet.” responded Wesley. Santa looks around the mansion and asks, “Where’s my sleigh?” Santa suddenly notices the presents piled up in an area of the mansion and angrily exclaims, “Those fiends!”
“We should be able to track down Trekker and Trekker Jr. My friends and I saw the whole thing from my laboratory. Follow me.” says Micah while leading his friends and Santa to Trekker’s Warp Machine. Micah, his friends, and Santa all warp to Micah’s laboratory with Micah walking up to his computer and viewing live surveillance footage of Trekker and Trekker Jr. replacing every present they encounter in Arcanum with one of their rogue experiments.
“I must be dreaming.” says Santa annoyingly while pinching himself.
“Don’t hurt yourself, Santa. As much as my friends and I wish this was all a bad dream, I’m afraid what you’re seeing is all real.” responds Micah while stopping Santa from pinching himself.
“We need a plan to stop Trekker and Trekker Jr.” said Wesley. Micah thinks for a moment and suddenly receives an idea while responding, “I think I know how to do it.” Micah huddles up his friends and Santa, whispering his plan while rushing over to a dressing room with his friends afterwards as Santa stays put. Trekker and Trekker Jr. climb out the chimney of a house and walk towards Santa’s sleigh with Trekker Jr. asking, “Well, that’s the last of Arcanum. Where to next?”
“Why don’t we do Greenville, Ohio? Micah’s hometown?” asked Trekker.
“Yeah! We’ll shatter his childhood memories into a million pieces!” answers Trekker Jr. while jumping into the sleigh with Trekker.
“Less talk, more work.” responds Trekker while whipping the reins on the reindeer. The reindeer go into the air with the sleigh still sitting on the ground, confusing Trekker as he whips the reins a couple more times. Trekker Jr. looks under the sleigh and finds piles of cinder blocks stacked on top of the sleigh’s runners, tapping Trekker’s shoulder and pointing down at the runners after getting his attention. As Trekker notices the cinder blocks, all lights within their neighborhood block shut off with four spotlights appearing on the street afterwards. After the reindeer land back onto the roof of the house, Trekker and Trekker Jr. approach the spotlights and find Micah and his friends underneath it with Micah holding Jessica’s hands and Wesley holding Sarah’s hands. Micah and his friends start dancing to Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s “Trepak” from “The Nutcracker” with Micah and Wesley spinning their partners and tossing them towards Trekker and Trekker Jr. While spinning, Sarah and Jessica hold out one leg, kicking Trekker and Trekker Jr. in the face repeatedly until spinning back to Micah and Wesley. Sarah and Jessica simultaneously spin and toss their partners to Trekker and Trekker Jr. with their partners kicking up their legs and kicking Trekker and Trekker Jr. in the face. At the end of the song, Micah and Wesley do an upward jab that sends Trekker and Trekker Jr. flying out of sight and landing in front of Santa, who pulls out Micah’s Warp Machine Remote and warps Trekker and Trekker Jr. (who are unconscious) back to their mansion. Micah and his friends turn the lights back on in the neighborhood and approach Santa with Micah’s Warp Machine sitting next to him.
“Well done, Micah Friends! As usual!” says Santa while handing Micah his Warp Machine Remote.
“Thanks, Santa. Now, let’s get those presents back into your sleigh.” responded Micah. Micah and Santa enter Micah’s Warp Machine while Wesley, Sarah, and Jessica stay put.
“You guys coming?” asked Micah.
“No. We’ll stay here and empty out the bag.” answered Wesley.
“Hurry back!” said Sarah. Micah and Santa warp back to Trekker’s mansion, grabbing a handful of presents and bringing them back to the sleigh as Wesley, Sarah, and Jessica remove the cinder blocks from the sleigh’s runners and subsequently dumping out Santa’s bag while disposing Trekker’s and Trekker Jr.’s diabolical experiments. With the bag empty and all the presents returned to the sleigh a while later, Micah and his friends help Santa load the presents back in the bag and the bag back into the sleigh afterwards.
“Thanks again for your help, Micah Friends! Now I can finish my job!” said Santa.
“Not a problem, Santa. We can’t have Christmas without you or presents.” responded Sarah.
“Don’t say that, Sarah. Christmas isn’t about Santa, putting up trees, or presents.” replied Micah.
“That’s right. Christmas is really about the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.” said Santa. Santa starts telling Micah and his friends about the birth of Jesus Christ with Jessica asking in the end, “So, what do you have to do with Christmas?”
“I’m just the mascot sent by God to do His work. If you’ve been naughty (like Trekker and Trekker Jr.), I will punish you with lumps of coal or nothing. But…if you’ve been nice (like you four), I will reward you with everything you’ve ever wanted. Speaking of rewards, I will let each and every one of you open up one gift right now for saving Christmas yet again. I hope you like it.” answers Santa while digging through his bag. Santa grabs one gift for Micah and his friends and tosses them out, watching as Micah and his friends excitedly rip open their gifts.
“Wow! A new lab coat! I was hoping to get one soon! I didn’t know how much longer my one had.” said Micah excitedly.
“I got one, too!” responded Wesley excitedly.
“Try it on.” said Santa. Micah and Wesley put on their lab coats with Micah saying, “Stylish and functional! Thanks a bolt-tightening million, Santa!”
“Yeah! Thank you so much!” said Wesley.
“No thanks are necessary, you two. You’ve earned it.” responded Santa. Micah and Wesley draw their attention to Sarah and Jessica with Micah asking, “Sarah? Jessica? What did you get?”
“New make-up!” answered Sarah excitedly.
“I can’t wait to put it on!” said Jessica.
“Do you have time to spare, Santa?” asked Sarah.
“Some, but not much. Why?” asked Santa.
“We want to know how you became Santa Claus!” answered Jessica.
“Well…ok.” responded Santa. Santa starts telling Micah and his friends about how he became Santa Claus with Jessica asking in the end, “Wow. Who’d have thought?”
“Sorry guys, but I have to get going. I have a lot to do in so little time.” says Santa while sitting down in his sleigh.
“We’ll help you return all of Arcanum’s presents.” responded Micah.
“Don’t worry about that.” replied Santa.
“Are you sure?” asked Micah.
“Absolutely. You four have done enough. Some of my elves and I will take care of that. Now, go on home and get some sleep.” answered Santa. Santa whips the reins on the reindeer and takes off into the sky, waving to Micah and his friends while hollering, “Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!” Micah and his friends wave back to Santa and watch as he flies off into the sky, disappearing afterwards with Micah subsequently summoning his Warp Machine while saying, “Well, you heard the man. Merry Christmas, you guys.”
“You too, Micah.” responds Wesley while shaking hands with Micah.
“Merry Christmas!” responds Sarah while hugging Micah. Micah hugs Sarah back with Jessica subsequently hugging him and saying, “Merry Christmas!”
“You too, Jessica.” responds Micah while hugging Jessica back. Wesley, Sarah, and Jessica wish one another a Merry Christmas while hugging one another and warping home afterwards with Micah. Micah and his friends dress in their PJs at their respective houses and go straight to bed, falling fast asleep after a hard night’s work. On Christmas morning, Micah, his brothers, and his friends all jump out of bed and excitedly rip open their presents as Santa and his elves watch from a Crystal Ball at the North Pole. The Crystal Ball suddenly shows Trekker and Trekker Jr. receiving lumps of coal and throwing tantrums with Santa and the elves laughing. After opening up the rest of his presents, Micah puts on his new lab coat and goes into his laboratory with Wesley (also wearing his new lab coat), Sarah (wearing her new make-up), and Jessica (also wearing her new make-up) coming over. Santa and some of his elves appear before Micah and his friends in Micah’s laboratory and shows them the Crystal Ball with Santa saying, “You guys got to see this.” Micah and his friends watch with Santa and his elves on the Crystal Ball as it shows Trekker and Trekker Jr. having angry outbursts over their lump of coal, making Micah and his friends laugh while Santa says, “I got an idea.” Santa makes himself, along with Micah and his friends, disappear and arrive in front of Trekker and Trekker Jr. at Trekker’s mansion.
“Yeah, nice gift you broken bolt! This is just what I asked for!” says Trekker sarcastically while presenting his lump of coal with Trekker Jr.
“Oh, don’t worry Trekker. I have a very special gift for you and Trekker Jr.” responds Santa while some of his elves quietly set up a ramp behind Trekker and Trekker Jr., loading it with a lump of coal the size of a boulder.
“Really? Where is it?” asked Trekker Jr. excitedly.
“Behind you!” answers Santa while pointing out the giant lump of coal to Trekker and Trekker Jr. Trekker and Trekker Jr. turn around with some of Santa’s elves pushing the lump of coal down the ramp while Trekker and Trekker Jr. run for their lives. Micah and his friends laugh along with Santa and his elves as Trekker and Trekker Jr. run away from the lump of coal and eventually get run over by it, looking like pancakes afterwards. As Micah and his friends laugh, some of Santa’s elves sneak up behind Sarah and Jessica and stack each other up on one another with the elves on the top holding mistletoe over Sarah’s and Jessica’s heads. Some more elves sneak up behind Micah and Wesley and push them towards Sarah and Jessica, causing Micah to inadvertently kiss Jessica and Wesley to inadvertently kiss Sarah. Micah and Wesley immediately push themselves away from Sarah and Jessica with Micah exclaiming, “Sorry! Sorry! That was not supposed to happen!”
“We had no control over that! Honest!” exclaimed Wesley. Santa grabs and picks up the stack of elves standing behind Micah and his friends by their hats and jokingly asks, “You just can’t yourselves, can you?” The elves shrug their shoulders while Micah and his friends subsequently draw their attention to them with Micah jokingly asking, “Really?” Micah and his friends laugh along with Santa and his elves while Trekker and Trekker Jr. remain flat as pancakes and stand motionless, concluding Christmas for the year while waiting out the next.
The End
